OncoVOIS terms and conditions
Please read these terms before you use OncoVOIS. By opening the app and tapping Continue, you accept them and the privacy policy.
Draft. These terms are waiting for review by a lawyer and may change.

2. Important Medical Disclaimer
OncoVOIS Is Not a Substitute for a Doctor
OncoVOIS is designed to provide health information, organize medical information, explain medical reports, assist users in researching cancer treatment options, identify questions for healthcare professionals, explore clinical trials and assist with healthcare navigation.
Unless a specific OncoVOIS feature is expressly identified as a legally authorized medical device:
ONCOVOIS IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE AND DOES NOT DIAGNOSE, TREAT, CURE OR PREVENT ANY MEDICAL CONDITION.
OncoVOIS does not replace:
- a physician;
- an oncologist;
- a hematologist;
- a surgeon;
- a radiation oncologist;
- a pathologist;
- a genetic counselor;
- a pharmacist;
- any qualified healthcare provider;
- a hospital tumor board; or
- an emergency medical service.
Information provided by OncoVOIS must not be treated as a medical diagnosis, prescription, medical order or individualized treatment decision.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, medication, treatment changes, clinical-trial participation or other healthcare decisions.
3. Do Not Use OncoVOIS for Medical Emergencies
OncoVOIS is not an emergency medical service.
Do not rely upon OncoVOIS if you believe that you or another person is experiencing a medical emergency.
Examples may include severe breathing difficulty, severe bleeding, unconsciousness, stroke symptoms, seizures, severe allergic reaction, chest pain, suspected sepsis or any rapidly deteriorating medical condition.
Immediately contact your local emergency service (in India, dial 112), the nearest emergency department, your treating hospital or a qualified medical professional.
OncoVOIS cannot monitor patients continuously and cannot guarantee that an emergency condition will be recognized.
4. About the Services
Depending upon availability, subscription level, country and product configuration, OncoVOIS may provide features including the following.

- diagnosis;
- histology;
- stage;
- TNM classification;
- biomarkers;
- mutations;
- molecular findings;
- metastatic sites;
- treatment history;
- surgery;
- chemotherapy;
- radiotherapy;
- immunotherapy;
- targeted therapies;
- cell and gene therapies;
- clinical responses;
- imaging findings;
- laboratory findings;
- symptoms; and
- follow-up information.
Treatment Information
OncoVOIS may provide information about standard treatments and possible treatment considerations based upon information supplied by the user.
Advanced Treatment Research
Information may be provided about emerging or advanced treatments including, without limitation, CAR-T, CAR-NK, TCR-T, TIL, NK-cell therapy, cellular immunotherapies, gene therapies, antibody-drug conjugates, bispecific antibodies, targeted therapies, immunotherapies, therapeutic vaccines, oncolytic viruses, proton therapy, heavy-ion therapy, BNCT, SBRT, ablation technologies and similar treatments.
Clinical-Trial Discovery
OncoVOIS may identify potentially relevant clinical trials based upon a patient's cancer, biomarkers, treatment history and other information.
Treatment-Cost Information
OncoVOIS may provide estimated treatment costs, medicine prices, procedure costs, diagnostic costs and related healthcare expenditure information.
Healthcare Navigation
OncoVOIS or CancerFax may assist users in contacting hospitals, physicians, research centers, clinical-trial sites or other healthcare providers.
AI Assistance
Users may communicate with OncoVOIS through text, voice or other interfaces and receive AI-generated explanations, summaries and responses.
The availability and scope of these Services may change from time to time.
5. Artificial Intelligence Limitations
OncoVOIS uses artificial intelligence and automated technologies. AI-generated information has inherent limitations. It may occasionally:
- misunderstand a medical report;
- misinterpret an abbreviation;
- incorrectly extract a laboratory value;
- fail to recognize relevant information;
- incorrectly associate information;
- misunderstand dates or timelines;
- produce incomplete information;
- rely upon outdated information;
- generate information that sounds plausible but is inaccurate;
- fail to identify an important treatment consideration;
- fail to identify an important drug interaction;
- provide incomplete clinical-trial information; or
- produce other errors.
AI output should therefore be independently reviewed before it is used for important healthcare decisions.
Where OncoVOIS labels information as AI Extracted, Patient Reported, Unverified, Clinician Confirmed, Verification Required or similar, users should consider that status when interpreting the information.
OncoVOIS does not guarantee that AI-generated output is complete, accurate or suitable for an individual patient's medical circumstances.
6. Clinician Oversight
OncoVOIS strongly encourages users to discuss relevant information generated by the platform with their treating oncologist or other qualified healthcare professional.
Where OncoVOIS provides access to clinician-reviewed services, such review will be specifically identified. The availability of clinician review for one part of the Service does not mean that all OncoVOIS content has been reviewed by a doctor.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, users should assume AI-generated content has not been independently reviewed by a healthcare professional.
7. No Doctor-Patient Relationship
Use of OncoVOIS does not by itself create a doctor-patient relationship between you and:
- OncoVOIS;
- Syncare Corporation or CancerFax;
- their employees;
- their contractors;
- their advisors;
- participating hospitals;
- healthcare professionals listed on the platform; or
- any technology provider.
A doctor-patient relationship may arise separately if you consult a licensed healthcare provider and that provider accepts you as a patient under applicable law.
8. Medical Reports and Data Accuracy
The quality of OncoVOIS results depends substantially upon the quality and completeness of information provided. You are responsible for providing, to the best of your knowledge, accurate and complete medical information.
You should verify important information against original reports and with qualified healthcare professionals, including:
- diagnosis;
- pathology;
- stage;
- biomarkers;
- treatment history;
- medication doses;
- allergies;
- imaging findings;
- laboratory values; and
- medical history.
Original medical records should remain the authoritative source.
OncoVOIS may preserve uploaded records and extracted information as part of a patient's cancer journey where permitted by applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
9. Clinical-Trial Information
OncoVOIS may search or compile information from sources including governmental registries, academic institutions, hospitals, medical literature and clinical-trial databases.
A trial appearing as a possible match does not mean that the patient:
- is eligible;
- will be accepted;
- will receive the investigational treatment;
- will receive treatment without cost;
- will obtain a visa;
- will be medically fit to participate; or
- will benefit from participation.
Trial eligibility can depend upon detailed criteria including pathology, biomarkers, prior treatment, laboratory results, organ function, age, performance status and investigator assessment. Only the clinical-trial investigator or authorized study team can make a final eligibility determination.
Trial status can change without notice. Recruitment may close, be suspended or change before external databases are updated. Users should independently confirm current recruitment status with the trial site.
10. Investigational and Experimental Treatments
Some therapies discussed through OncoVOIS may be experimental, investigational, approved only in specific countries, approved only for certain indications or available only through clinical trials or special access programs.
OncoVOIS aims to distinguish among:
- approved standard treatment;
- approved treatment used outside its labeled indication;
- evidence-supported treatment;
- investigational treatment; and
- experimental treatment.
However, regulatory status changes and may differ between jurisdictions. Approval in one country does not mean approval in India or in your country.
Information about an experimental therapy should not be interpreted as a recommendation that the therapy is appropriate, safe or effective for a particular patient.
11. Medicine and Treatment Information
References to medicines, therapies, treatment protocols, doses, schedules or combinations are informational only unless specifically prescribed by the patient's licensed healthcare professional.
Users must not do any of the following solely because of information generated by OncoVOIS:
- begin medication;
- discontinue medication;
- modify medication doses;
- change chemotherapy;
- delay treatment;
- start supplements;
- combine medicines; or
- change an oncology treatment plan.
Treatment decisions must be made with an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
12. Treatment Cost Estimates
OncoVOIS may provide information regarding medicine prices, investigation prices, hospitalization costs, procedures, clinical services and estimated overall treatment expenditure.
These figures are estimates, unless specifically identified as a verified written quotation from a healthcare provider. Healthcare costs may vary based upon:
- hospital;
- city;
- country;
- room category;
- brand of medicine;
- dosage;
- body weight or body-surface area;
- number of cycles;
- treatment complications;
- length of stay;
- investigations;
- supportive care;
- taxes;
- currency exchange rates;
- physician fees;
- insurance arrangements; and
- changes in pricing.
Any final hospital bill may therefore differ materially from an estimate shown by OncoVOIS. OncoVOIS does not guarantee any final treatment cost.
A maximum retail price (MRP), a regulated ceiling price, a government tariff, a pharmacy selling price and a hospital charge are different financial concepts. OncoVOIS labels the type and source of a price where available. Where a price has not been independently verified, it may be marked "Verification Required" or similarly.
13. Insurance and Government Schemes
OncoVOIS may provide information regarding insurance programs, government healthcare schemes, financial-assistance programs, reimbursement programs or other forms of financial support.
Such information does not constitute a guarantee of eligibility, approval, reimbursement or payment. Eligibility and coverage must be confirmed directly with the relevant insurer, government agency or program administrator.
14. Hospitals and Healthcare Providers
OncoVOIS may provide information about hospitals, physicians, clinics, laboratories, treatment centers and other healthcare providers. Inclusion of a healthcare provider does not automatically constitute an endorsement.
Healthcare providers remain independently responsible for their own:
- clinical decisions;
- treatment;
- professional conduct;
- medical advice;
- pricing;
- billing;
- facilities;
- regulatory compliance; and
- patient care.
Users should independently evaluate the qualifications, licensing and suitability of healthcare providers.
15. International Medical Travel
OncoVOIS may provide information or assistance relating to international cancer treatment. International medical travel involves independent risks including:
- travel fitness;
- visa restrictions;
- treatment complications;
- continuity of care;
- language barriers;
- regulatory differences;
- insurance limitations;
- currency fluctuations;
- travel disruption; and
- emergency medical requirements.
Users remain responsible for obtaining appropriate medical clearance, travel documents, visas and insurance. Neither Syncare Corporation, OncoVOIS nor CancerFax guarantees the issuance of any visa or admission by a foreign hospital.
16. Eligibility and Age
OncoVOIS is intended primarily for adults.
You must be 18 years of age or older, or the age of legal majority applicable in your jurisdiction if higher, to create and independently operate an OncoVOIS account.
Children and adolescents must not independently create an account unless OncoVOIS expressly introduces an appropriately compliant service for minors.
A parent or lawful guardian may use OncoVOIS on behalf of a minor where permitted by law. The parent or guardian is responsible for ensuring that they have lawful authority to submit and process the minor's medical information, and OncoVOIS may request verifiable confirmation of that authority where required by applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
OncoVOIS is not designed for or marketed to children.
17. Caregivers and Representatives
A caregiver, family member, representative or patient navigator may use OncoVOIS on behalf of another person only where they have appropriate permission or legal authority.
By uploading another person's medical records, you represent that you are authorized to do so. You must respect the privacy and confidentiality of the patient concerned.
18. User Accounts
Certain features require an account. You agree to provide accurate account information and keep your authentication credentials secure.
You are responsible for activity occurring through your account unless such activity results from circumstances for which applicable law makes us responsible. You must notify us promptly at care@oncovois.ai if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
You may not sell, transfer or commercially share your account without our written authorization.
19. Privacy and Health Information
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and processing of personal data and health-related information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
The Privacy Policy is available at https://oncovois.ai/privacy/ and within the OncoVOIS application.
Depending upon your jurisdiction, your information may be subject to privacy laws including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and, where relevant, laws such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and other national or regional privacy legislation.
Nothing in these Terms removes privacy rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
20. Permission to Process Uploaded Medical Information
By voluntarily submitting medical records or health information, you instruct OncoVOIS to process that information for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy and associated consent notices. Processing may include:
- storing records;
- extracting clinical information;
- structuring patient information;
- generating summaries;
- comparing reports;
- creating medical timelines;
- identifying treatment information;
- identifying clinical trials;
- estimating treatment costs;
- supporting patient navigation; and
- providing AI-assisted responses.
Additional consent will be requested where required by applicable law. You may withdraw consent at any time as described in the Privacy Policy. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal, and some features may stop working once consent is withdrawn.
21. User Content
"User Content" includes information, documents, images, audio, text and other material submitted by users. You retain ownership of your User Content.
You grant Syncare Corporation a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, reproduce, transform and otherwise use User Content only as reasonably necessary to:
- operate the Services;
- provide requested functionality;
- maintain security;
- comply with legal requirements; and
- perform other activities described in the Privacy Policy.
This license ends when the relevant information is deleted, except to the extent continued retention is permitted or required by law.
22. Third-Party Information
OncoVOIS may display or reference information originating from:
- medical publications;
- clinical guidelines;
- hospitals;
- clinical-trial registries;
- pharmaceutical manufacturers;
- regulatory authorities;
- government agencies;
- healthcare databases;
- laboratories;
- physicians; or
- other third parties.
Third-party information may change without notice. We do not control all third-party sources and cannot guarantee that all externally sourced information is always complete or current.
23. Third-Party Links and Services
OncoVOIS may link to external websites, hospitals, clinical-trial registries, laboratories or other services. These services may have their own terms and privacy practices.
OncoVOIS is not responsible for third-party websites or services solely because we provide a link to them. Users should review applicable third-party terms before using those services.
24. Acceptable Use
You agree to use OncoVOIS only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Service to:
- 1. commit fraud or impersonate another person;
- 2. upload medical records without appropriate authorization;
- 3. interfere with the operation or security of the platform;
- 4. attempt unauthorized access to accounts, servers or databases;
- 5. distribute malware or malicious code;
- 6. conduct automated scraping without authorization;
- 7. reverse engineer the Service except where law expressly permits it;
- 8. circumvent access controls or subscription restrictions;
- 9. intentionally generate false medical records;
- 10. use OncoVOIS to provide unlicensed medical services;
- 11. facilitate illegal activity;
- 12. harass or threaten another person;
- 13. violate intellectual-property rights;
- 14. knowingly upload unlawful content; or
- 15. misuse AI functionality in a manner that risks harm to others, including attempting to make the AI produce harmful, deceptive or unlawful content.
We may implement reasonable safeguards to detect and prevent misuse.
25. Reporting AI or Safety Concerns
OncoVOIS provides an in-app option that allows users to report or flag AI-generated content that appears:
- medically unsafe;
- incorrect;
- abusive;
- discriminatory;
- offensive;
- deceptive;
- unlawful; or
- otherwise inappropriate.
Concerns may also be reported by email to care@oncovois.ai. Reports may be reviewed by OncoVOIS for safety, quality improvement and policy enforcement.
Reporting inappropriate content does not guarantee immediate review and must not be used for medical emergencies.
26. Free and Paid Services
OncoVOIS may offer both free and paid functionality.
Free functionality may include selected services such as medical-record organization, report summaries or other basic features. Paid plans may include features such as:
- expanded AI access;
- advanced treatment research;
- clinical-trial discovery;
- advanced therapy information;
- cost intelligence;
- enhanced cancer journey features; and
- other premium functionality.
Features included in a paid plan will be shown to users before purchase. We may introduce, remove or modify plans provided that applicable consumer-law and app-store requirements are respected.
27. Subscriptions
Certain OncoVOIS services may be provided through recurring subscriptions. Before you purchase a subscription, the purchase screen will clearly disclose:
- the subscription price;
- the billing period;
- the currency;
- the included services;
- whether the subscription automatically renews;
- renewal conditions;
- the cancellation method; and
- material limitations, including any free-trial or introductory-offer terms.
28. Google Play Purchases
When a subscription or digital service is purchased through the Android application, payments are processed through Google Play Billing where required by Google Play rules.
Google Play may manage:
- payment processing;
- subscription renewal;
- payment methods;
- cancellation; and
- certain refund processes.
Google's applicable terms therefore apply in addition to these Terms. Users can manage and cancel Google Play subscriptions through the Subscriptions section of their Google Play account.
OncoVOIS will comply with applicable Google Play billing requirements and any legally applicable alternative billing arrangements.
29. Website and Other Payments
Purchases made directly through oncovois.ai or another authorized OncoVOIS payment channel may be processed by third-party payment processors, which may maintain their own terms and privacy practices.
Where permitted by law, subscription charges will be clearly presented before payment authorization.
30. Automatic Renewal
Where a subscription is described as automatically renewing, it will continue for successive billing periods until cancelled, subject to applicable law and the terms presented at purchase.
The amount, frequency and automatic-renewal terms will be displayed before subscription. Users may cancel future renewal through the mechanism applicable to the relevant purchase channel.
Cancellation normally prevents future renewal but does not automatically result in a refund for a period already purchased unless applicable law, platform policy or our refund policy provides otherwise.
31. Cancellation and Refunds
Users may cancel subscriptions according to the instructions provided for the platform through which the subscription was purchased.
For Google Play purchases, users should use Google Play subscription-management functionality. Uninstalling the application does not cancel a Google Play subscription.
For direct website purchases, OncoVOIS will provide a reasonably accessible cancellation mechanism.
Refund eligibility may depend upon:
- applicable law;
- Google Play policies;
- payment-provider rules;
- the country of purchase;
- timing of the request; and
- circumstances surrounding the transaction.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory statutory cancellation, cooling-off, withdrawal or refund rights applicable to consumers.
32. Price Changes
Subscription prices may change in the future. Where required, affected subscribers will receive notice before a price increase takes effect and may be required to consent to the new price.
Price changes will be handled consistently with applicable platform rules and consumer laws.
33. Taxes
Prices may include or exclude applicable taxes depending upon the jurisdiction and purchase channel. Any required taxes, GST, VAT or similar charges will be handled according to applicable law and displayed where legally required.
34. Sponsored Content, Commercial Relationships and Referrals
Syncare Corporation, OncoVOIS or CancerFax may have commercial relationships with certain healthcare providers, laboratories, pharmaceutical companies or other organizations.
Where a commercial relationship materially affects how information or a recommendation is presented, we will provide appropriate disclosure.
Payments, referral arrangements or commercial relationships will not be represented as independent clinical evidence. Sponsored content, where used, will be clearly distinguishable from independent informational content.
35. Intellectual Property
Except for User Content and third-party materials, the OncoVOIS Service and its content are owned by or licensed to Syncare Corporation. This includes:
- software;
- source code;
- databases;
- interface designs;
- trademarks;
- logos;
- graphics;
- proprietary algorithms;
- structured datasets;
- workflows;
- reports;
- text; and
- other intellectual property.
Subject to these Terms, users receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for lawful personal purposes. No ownership rights are transferred to users.
36. Trademarks
"OncoVOIS," "VOIS," associated logos, product names and branding may constitute trademarks or proprietary identifiers of Syncare Corporation or its licensors. "CancerFax" and associated branding are used with authorization. They may not be used commercially without authorization.
37. Feedback
If you voluntarily provide suggestions or feedback regarding OncoVOIS, we may use such feedback to improve our Services without an obligation to compensate you, provided we do not use your confidential health information contrary to our Privacy Policy or applicable law.
38. Service Availability
We aim to maintain reliable Services but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may occasionally be unavailable due to:
- maintenance;
- software updates;
- network problems;
- cybersecurity incidents;
- third-party outages;
- regulatory restrictions;
- force majeure; or
- circumstances beyond reasonable control.
We may change technical functionality where reasonably necessary.
39. Updates to Medical Information
Cancer treatment information evolves rapidly. Medical guidelines, drug approvals, clinical-trial status, medicine prices, hospital programs and regulatory requirements may change.
OncoVOIS updates its information periodically, but we cannot guarantee that every item reflects the most recent development at every moment. Time-sensitive medical information should be independently confirmed.
40. No Guarantee of Medical Outcome
OncoVOIS does not guarantee:
- treatment success;
- cure;
- remission;
- survival;
- treatment response;
- clinical-trial acceptance;
- regulatory approval;
- hospital admission;
- treatment availability;
- insurance reimbursement; or
- any particular medical outcome.
Cancer outcomes depend upon numerous individual medical factors.
41. No Guarantee of Accuracy
We endeavor to provide accurate information but, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, do not guarantee that all information will always be:
- complete;
- error-free;
- current;
- suitable for every patient; or
- available without interruption.
This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
42. Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis. Any warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected. Consumer users may have statutory rights regarding digital services that these Terms cannot remove.
43. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law, including liability that may arise from fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, intentional misconduct or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to mandatory law, neither Syncare Corporation, OncoVOIS nor CancerFax will be responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or purely economic losses arising from use of informational content where such loss was not reasonably foreseeable or legally attributable to us.
In particular, OncoVOIS should not be held responsible solely because a user:
- ignored professional medical advice;
- relied exclusively upon AI output contrary to these Terms;
- submitted inaccurate or incomplete information;
- independently chose an experimental treatment;
- misunderstood third-party information; or
- experienced actions or omissions attributable to an independent healthcare provider.
Any monetary limitation of liability imposed by these Terms will apply only to the extent enforceable under applicable law. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
44. Independent Healthcare Providers
Hospitals and healthcare professionals contacted through OncoVOIS are ordinarily independent providers unless expressly stated otherwise. OncoVOIS does not control their medical judgment.
Disputes concerning medical treatment, hospital charges or professional conduct may therefore need to be addressed directly with the relevant healthcare provider. This does not limit responsibility that applicable law independently imposes upon Syncare Corporation, OncoVOIS or CancerFax.
45. User Responsibility
Users are responsible for deciding whether and how to act on information provided through OncoVOIS. Important treatment decisions should be reviewed with a qualified healthcare professional.
Users are also responsible for maintaining copies of important medical records and should not use OncoVOIS as the sole repository for irreplaceable medical documentation.
46. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, business users or users acting outside a consumer capacity agree to indemnify Syncare Corporation against third-party claims resulting from their unlawful misuse of the Service or violation of third-party rights.
This clause does not apply to consumers where such an obligation would be unlawful, unfair or unenforceable.
47. Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary because of:
- serious violation of these Terms;
- fraud;
- security threats;
- unlawful activity;
- abuse of the Service;
- threats to patient safety;
- unauthorized access;
- non-payment; or
- legal or regulatory requirements.
Where practicable and legally required, reasonable notice or an opportunity to address the issue will be provided. Users may stop using OncoVOIS at any time.
48. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your OncoVOIS account and associated personal data at any time, without needing to contact us by phone or visit us in person. You can do this:
- from within the OncoVOIS application, through the account settings; or
- without reinstalling the app, by emailing care@oncovois.ai from your registered email address with the subject line "Account Deletion Request", or through the options described at https://oncovois.ai/privacy/.
Deletion of personal information is governed by the Privacy Policy and applicable data-retention obligations. Certain information may need to be retained, for a limited period, where required for:
- legal compliance;
- security;
- fraud prevention;
- accounting and tax records;
- dispute resolution; or
- other lawful purposes.
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription. Please cancel any active subscription through Google Play to avoid further charges.
49. Communications
By creating an account, users agree to receive essential service-related communications, such as:
- account-security messages;
- verification notices;
- subscription notices;
- privacy notices;
- important service changes; and
- safety communications.
Marketing communications will be sent only in accordance with applicable consent requirements. Users may opt out of non-essential marketing communications at any time.
50. Electronic Communications
Users agree that legally permitted notices and communications may be delivered electronically through email, the mobile application, user-account notifications or the Website.
This does not affect any legal requirement that a particular notice be delivered differently.
51. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures intended to protect information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest where appropriate and role-based access controls. However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
Users should use strong passwords and avoid sharing credentials. Users should notify OncoVOIS promptly at care@oncovois.ai if they suspect unauthorized account access or a security issue.
52. Export Controls and International Restrictions
Users must comply with applicable trade restrictions, sanctions, export controls and other laws governing access to software or healthcare-related services. We may restrict availability in jurisdictions where offering the Service would violate applicable law.
53. Local Laws
OncoVOIS is intended for users in multiple countries. Healthcare, data protection, artificial intelligence, consumer protection and medical-device laws vary substantially between countries.
Certain functionality may therefore be modified, restricted or unavailable in specific jurisdictions. Users are responsible for complying with laws applicable to them.
54. India
OncoVOIS operates subject to relevant Indian laws, including, where applicable, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made under it, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and rules made under it, and applicable healthcare and medical-device regulations.
Nothing in these Terms removes rights available under mandatory Indian law.
55. European Economic Area
Users located in the European Economic Area may have mandatory rights under European consumer and data-protection laws. Where EU law applies, provisions of these Terms that conflict with mandatory rights will not override those rights.
Information regarding personal-data rights and lawful processing is provided in the Privacy Policy.
56. United Kingdom
UK consumers retain all rights arising under mandatory UK consumer law. Where applicable, subscriptions will be handled consistently with statutory requirements relating to transparent terms, renewal, reminders, cancellation and consumer withdrawal rights.
These Terms do not remove rights that UK consumers cannot legally waive.
57. United States
Users in the United States may have rights under federal and state laws, including applicable consumer and privacy legislation. Privacy rights applicable to residents of California and other states are described in the Privacy Policy where applicable.
OncoVOIS does not represent that every piece of health information processed through the consumer platform is automatically subject to HIPAA. HIPAA applicability depends upon the entities, relationships and circumstances involved.
58. Other Jurisdictions
Users in Singapore, China, Israel, Australia, Canada and other jurisdictions may have additional statutory rights. Where mandatory local law gives users greater rights than these Terms, mandatory law prevails.
59. Governing Law
Subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules applicable in the user's country, these Terms and the relationship between the user and Syncare Corporation are governed by the laws of India.
This choice of law does not deprive a consumer of protections that cannot lawfully be excluded under the laws that would otherwise apply.
60. Grievance Redressal and Dispute Resolution
Grievance Officer
In accordance with applicable Indian law, Syncare Corporation has appointed a Grievance Officer who also acts as the Data Protection Contact for OncoVOIS. Complaints, concerns or requests relating to these Terms, the Services, your personal data or AI-generated content may be addressed to:
Grievance Officer / Data Protection Contact

Please do not send medical emergencies to this address.
Informal Resolution
Before starting formal proceedings, users are encouraged to contact the Grievance Officer so that the parties can attempt to resolve the issue informally.
Courts
If the matter cannot be resolved, disputes may be brought before the courts having competent jurisdiction at Kolkata, West Bengal, India, subject to mandatory consumer rights and jurisdictional rules applicable to the user.
Nothing in this provision prevents a consumer from approaching a consumer commission, regulator, ombudsman, the Data Protection Board of India, another data-protection authority or other dispute mechanism where legally available.
61. Force Majeure
To the extent permitted by law, we will not be responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances reasonably beyond our control, including:
- natural disasters;
- war;
- civil unrest;
- epidemic;
- pandemic;
- governmental restrictions;
- internet outages;
- major infrastructure failure;
- cyberattacks;
- labor disruptions; or
- failure of essential third-party infrastructure.
62. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect:
