Trust & Safety

AI should make cancer information clearer, not make medical decisions for you.

  1. 01

    Clinician remains at the centre

OncoVOIS provides information and navigation support. Your oncologist makes treatment decisions.

  2. 02

    Sources matter

Important medical information shows its supporting source and date wherever possible.

  3. 03

    AI can make mistakes

AI can misread a report or miss a detail. That is why you review extracted facts, and why clinicians can verify them.

  4. 04

    You control your information

You decide what is processed and shared, and you can withdraw consent or delete your data.

  5. 05

    Medical information changes

Guidelines and approvals evolve. Each page shows when it was last reviewed.

  6. 06

    Not for emergencies

Urgent symptoms need your hospital or emergency services, not an app.

Why we label every treatment

OncoVOIS covers advanced and emerging therapies. To keep hope honest, each one carries a clear classification.

  • Approved standard

Accepted standard of care for that cancer, stage and setting.

  • Approved, selected indication

Approved by a regulator, but only for particular cancers or situations, and only in the countries named.

  • Off-label

An approved drug used outside its authorised indication. Requires specialist judgement.

  • Investigational

Available through clinical trials. Benefit has not yet been established.

  • Experimental

Early research without established clinical benefit for the indication.

Our relationship with CancerFax

OncoVOIS is part of the CancerFax ecosystem. CancerFax sees your information only when you ask, for example for an expert review, and the app shows exactly what will be shared first. CancerFax services may be paid. Educational results in OncoVOIS are never ranked by commercial relationships.
